Colombia is the 3rd largest producer of coffee in the world and Colombia Supremo Huila 17/18 Screen Coffee has been grown in Colombia since at least 1732. Huila is one of the growing regions in the southern part of Colombia where many small farm holders sell their coffee beans in parchment to the mill. Specialty Huila coffee is grown be-tween 3,500 and 5,000 foot elevation in the Andes mountain range. “Supremo” describes the bean size as Supremo beans are 17 or 18 screen size. (Excelso are the 14/15 screen size).
