Michael Riendeau, Digital Content Consultant

Michael Riendeau is a senior designer and visual artist with 15+ years of experience in a number of industries. Mike has worked in major media markets on the East and West coasts, and possesses a broad set of skills that’s made him a sought after consultant and brand advocate. He’s also an obsessive coffee drinker, photographer and avid copy writer.

Michael began his career in the Boston area in news design and 3d animation. He lived in San Francisco for a short time before relocating to Los Angeles to work in advertising and commercial post production. The list of clients he’s worked for includes Nike, Dell, Norton and Vizio. As a lifelong coffee enthusiast, he began working in the specialty coffee industry as an art director for a successful startup roastery in the Southwest.

In 2015 Michael Riendeau joined the Vournas Coffee Trading Team, and is now an integral part of our marketing program. He coordinates our social media and online platforms, including generating and sharing weekly Instagram, Twitter and Facebook content. Mike assists in writing for many of the Vournas print programs, and is instrumental in the design and publication of the Vournas Voice newsletter. He also assisted in the development of our Coffee’s Amazing Journey feature video.

Michael holds a MFA graduate degree from San Francisco’s Academy of Art University, and is a proud alumnus of the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. He is proficient with multiple software platforms, and as a consultant oversees the development of everything from visual effects and 3d, to illustration, photography, copywriting, SEO and graphic design.

Whenever possible, Michael spends his time outdoors, either biking or swimming. His favorite Vournas Coffee, Chiapas Mexico Rancho San Francisco, is like finding the classic “diner coffee” in heaven.
