Finca Santa Agustina and Retalhuleu are located in the Quetzaltenango region in Guatemala’s Pacific coastal lowlands, known for a comparatively warm climate versus that of the higher altitude regions like Antigua or Huehuetenango. Quetzaltenango as a whole is considered a subtropical highland climate with elevations ranging up to 2,330m or 7,640 ft.
Our Guatemala Finca Santa Agustina SHB is a single-estate or single farm (finca) coffee from the department of Retalhuleu, Guatemala in the area of Nuevo San Carlos. The capital city of Retalhuleu, established in 1877, carries the same exact name (Retalhuleu) and is known simply as “Reu.”

As part of Guatemala’s Pacific coast growing region in Retalhuleu, Finca Santa Agustina is among some of the most scenic and beautiful parts of the country. Due to its proximity to the ocean, their rainy season will experience good late morning and afternoon rainfalls.
