Our beloved single-estate exclusive, the Guatemala “Huehue” is back in our marquis lineup for another season. This year will mark the 15th season that the Guatemala Dulce Leonarda has headlined our current offerings lineup. Not only is this one of the top Guatemalan coffees on the market, it represents that classic clean cup profile that helped Guatemala dominate the Central American coffee market for so many years.
2025 Guatemala Huehue Dulce Leonarda
The Dulce Leonarda Estate consists of 590 acres of gorgeous green, healthy shade grown arabica. The Department of Huehuetenango is part of Guatemala’s western highlands, where mineral-rich volcanic soil and a tropical climate provide farmers with near perfect growing conditions.

Gustavo’s family estate operates its own wet mill on-site, where the Dulce Leonarda handpicked cherries are processed. Each season production is limited and it’s already a well-established favorite here at VCT — so this is one of those get-it-while-you-can type of situations!
Guatemala Huehue Dulce Leonarda Notes:Great aroma with a very clean, smooth mouthfeel.
Notes of caramel, cocoa, tobacco, and lemony-citrus with floral hints.
Syrupy sweetnees, medium acidity and great body.
This is one of our more popular exclusives, and while it can certainly be blended, this is truly a great stand alone offering for pour-overs, espresso or other applications. We’re always getting new coffees in stock so always check back for more announcements!. Once we’ve cupped and vetted them at VCT HQ — and if they make the grade they’ll be sure to show up here sooner than later!
