Celebrating Importing Exceptional Coffee

As we welcome 2023 and everything great and new that comes with it, we want to share with you our resolution that we remain focused on our mission to import exceptional coffee that is both ethically and sustainably sourced. To do this, Vournas Coffee Trading as a company is committed to coffee producers’ economic empowerment through sustainable, responsible premiums and direct service backed by our 20-year track record of integrity and respect.

Coffees that carry the Vournas seal represent our commitment to quality, sustainability, and a belief in a better tomorrow, sealed with an honest handshake. As part of that pledge, we’ve revamped, resurfaced and re-imagined our website, VournasCoffee.com. And to stay consistent, our trademark coffee industry news source, The Vournas Voice, has likewise received a fresh makeover.

This year also happens to be the 21st anniversary of the launch of Vournas Coffee Trading. Since 2002 we have stood by our mantra of “Independent. Strong. Family Owned.” As a husband and wife duo, Andrew and I along with our incredible team are steadfast in our dedication to bring you exceptional coffees that shine in the cup. Our office in Thousand Oaks may be a ways from the coffee farms in places like Costa Rica, Tanzania, or Papua New Guinea, but because our values are aligned they have always felt close by.

The purpose that we live by, to do our best to make the world a better place than when we found it, is one that unites us with the coffee producers we support and our extended family of roasters scattered across the states. From country to country and shore to shore, we share the same destiny on this amazing planet. As we say, to know our coffee is to know the world, and in this way we invite you to join us as we lace up our work boots and continue to move forward.
