Our 2022 Mexico Rancho SF or “Rancho” as we call it, is a VCT exclusive and one of our longest running marquis offerings. It first appeared in our lineup, way back in 2002!! Now in our 20th anniversary year, we can say that we’re quite proud of this one. Producers Delmar and Fernando have done an outstanding job through the years, and the Rancho has just gotten better and better.
2022 Mexico Rancho San Francisco
Our 2022 Mexico Rancho comes from the Moreno Guillen brothers’ family estate in the Chiapas mountains, and utilizes a significant amount of natural shade trees. While not certified organic, it has always been naturally grown and processed without chemical fertilizers. Due to the farm’s elevation it does classify as SHG or Strictly High Grown. It is mostly Typica and Bourbon varieties, but there are a few Caturra beans in there too. We consider it highly versatile in terms of roasting, developing well across the spectrum.
